Lugoff Elgin High School Pickets
on US-1,
Lugoff, Kershaw Co., SC

There was a picket weekly or twice a week on the right of way in front of the Lugoff Elgin High School on US-1 in Lugoff, Kershaw County, SC from 2:30 PM until 3:30 or 4 PM.  There was no incidence of violence.  Many people waved and/or honked their horns to show approval.  The picket started in September with picketing on Mondays and Fridays, but soon it was reduced to just Fridays.
After picketing at the Lugoff Elgin High School we drove to John Deere to picket from 4 or 4:20 until 6 PM.

The reason for the picket is students were expelled for wearing Confederate T-shirts.  Prohibiting Confederate T-shirts is totally unacceptable behavior in the South.

I (the webmaster) have fallen behind putting the picket reports on the web.
*This is the picket of which I have photos (no photos so far on the web).
